BOM Management and Configuration Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled BOM Management and Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at Robin Radar Systems. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensuring effective configuration management throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- BOM Management: Develop, manage, and maintain accurate BOMs for various products, ensuring product completeness and collaborating with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure BOMs are up-to-date and reflect design changes.
- Configuration Management: Implement and maintain configuration management processes and tools, track and control product configuration changes, and manage product BOM versions and revisions to ensure consistency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to BOMs and configuration and change management, generate release notes for each released BOM, and support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and production, to support BOM and configuration management needs and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on BOM and configuration management best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in BOM management and configuration management, preferably in a high-tech industry.
- Strong understanding of BOM structures, configuration management principles, and relevant software tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Fluency in English, Dutch is considered a plus.
- You live in The Netherlands at commuting distance to The Hague.
