Job Title: Finance and Front Office Intern

At Swissôtel Amsterdam, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Front Office and Finance Department Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both customer-facing activities and financial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in greeting and serving visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel and taking messages when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office area, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist in handling inquiries and providing information about the company's products or services.
  • Support day-to-day financial activities, including income audit, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering relevant data and assisting in analysis.
  • Help maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
