Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution Technology team in Dresden or Arnhem.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for electrical systems in the energy industry, strong advising and networking skills, and a high interest in project management and client consulting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing engineering and advising tasks for high and medium voltage electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure
  • Managing client projects, ensuring quality assurance and control
  • Developing, processing, and reviewing technical documentations, layouts, designs, specifications, and tender documents
  • Evaluating the condition of substations, cables, and overhead lines and their components
  • Executing or witnessing commissioning tests, such as factory- or site acceptance tests
  • Writing clear and high-quality reports
  • Identifying market opportunities and developing our service portfolio/roadmap
  • Consulting clients on regulatory and environmental developments, implications on investment strategy and technology, and transferring knowledge to colleagues

As a Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a professional team of committed colleagues and have plenty of opportunities for personal growth.

Based on your experience, we will create a development plan with you for the next few years, focusing on learning on the job, coaching, and training.

You will have the opportunity to grow to a senior consulting role or develop as a senior technology expert.

Requirements include a BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, advanced knowledge and professional experience with electrical systems in the energy industry, and proficiency in English and German.
