Live-Service Game Master Position at Pearl Abyss Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-Service Game Master to join our team at Pearl Abyss Europe. As a Live-Service Game Master, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our live-service games, including Black Desert Online, Crimson Desert, DokeV, and PLAN 8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Live-Service Operations: Monitor the game's live-service, handle day-to-day tasks, and assist with server maintenance and content updates.
  • Issue Reporting and Resolution: Regularly report on live-service issues and player feedback, and respond to live game issues that occur in the game.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Assist in creating weekly/monthly in-game events plans and execute them during the live-service.
  • Community Engagement: Work closely with other live-ops specialists, Customer Support teams, and Community Managers to solicit feedback and suggestions for game improvement from the community.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Stay up-to-date on the latest game updates to support the player base properly, perform investigations and documentation on game exploits, bugs, and other serious technical issues, and review customer support ticket answers.

Requirements:

  • Native Level of English: We require a native level of English for this position.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the video game industry, especially in CS, QA, live-ops community management, or related fields.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Extensive knowledge and gameplay experience of MMORPGs, prior experience/interactions with gaming communities, and technical knowledge of online game live services.
  • Soft Skills: Strong customer service ethic, great interpersonal communication skills, creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Professionalism: Professional and mature demeanor, strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Avid Black Desert Online Player: We prefer an avid Black Desert Online player for this position.
  • Project Management Experience: Project management experience or related certificates are a plus.
  • Graphic Design or Video Production/Editing Skills: Graphic design or video production/editing skills are also a plus.
  • Proficiency in Korean: Proficiency in Korean is a plus.
