Job Description

A successful IT Support Technician at Avery Dennison will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Endpoint Management: Manage and support endpoint devices throughout their lifecycle, including provisioning, refresh, asset management, and decommissioning.
  • On-Call Support: Provide on-call support as a local 'Smart hands', ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • ITIL Processes: Adhere to ITIL processes, including change, incident, and problem management, to ensure efficient issue resolution.
  • SOX Compliance: Comply with SOX controls and execute them accordingly to maintain a secure technology environment.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues to identify effective solutions.
  • Software and Hardware Installation: Install, upgrade, and replace selected software and hardware products in accordance with Avery Dennison standards.
  • Training and Support: Deliver training on Avery Dennison's software and computer systems, including group presentations, one-on-one training, and onboarding.
  • Local OT and Infrastructure Support: Support local OT for the Manufacturing area and local infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Servers, Wifi, etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSc/High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Information Technology courses or certification(s) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology field preferred.
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch language.
  • 3+ years related experience, including 3-5 years performing routine software installations and program updates, as well as 3-5 years performing routine troubleshooting and problem resolution on computer, server, network, and telecommunication systems.
  • Understanding and experience with information systems environments and systems, including applicable computer systems, such as Google suite, function-specific software, and networking and server infrastructure.
  • Ability to travel to support other sites/Projects when needed.
  • A valid driving license.
