The Opportunity

We are seeking an intern to experience and learn our fraud tools and risk operations, ideal for those enthusiastic about data analytics, interpretation, and storytelling. This role offers the chance to learn how risk management is handled by a leading payment player in e-Commerce.

About the Team

Our team members cover Worldline's Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring programs, with this role responsible for the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) function, ensuring timely analysis, documentation, and follow-up.

Your Daily Responsibilities

During your internship, you will delve deeper into fraud & risk management and analytics basics. Your tasks will include:

  • Supporting the Fraud Risk Manager in monitoring client portfolios for unusual activity on a daily basis
  • Analyzing and interpreting fraud tool data
  • Presenting findings to Fraud Risk Managers, along with conclusions and recommendations
  • Communicating with clients and assisting their requests
  • Collaborating with the Fraud Risk Manager to identify 'at-risk' accounts and prepare action plans to mitigate risks

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we require a talented individual with strong analytical and technical skills, as well as effective communication abilities. As a candidate, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Economics, or Business Management
  • Critical analysis skills are essential
  • Able to manipulate data and form opinions
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fraud experience or interest in fraud
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Language proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus
