Job Title: Head Chef ROYAL98

Accor is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at ROYAL98, an acclaimed international food concept located in the heart of Amsterdam. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes, managing inventory, ordering, and kitchen supplies, and collaborating with the management team to deliver outstanding breakfast and room service for Swissôtel Amsterdam guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of our dishes, making sure it is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen supplies to maintain efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Develop new menu items and specials.
  • Collaborate with the management team to deliver outstanding breakfast and room service for Swissôtel Amsterdam guests.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations (HACCP).
  • Recruit, train, and manage your kitchen team. Schedule shifts. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or established Sous Chef, preferably in an International & Italian cuisine-focused establishment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Creative and passionate, but good humor is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
