Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Benelux. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large volume of daily outbound interactions with prospective customers, developing and managing the lead pipeline, and defining and executing plans to meet and exceed regional revenue targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with experience in cloud software sales and a proven track record of success in a similar role. They will be a fast learner, driven to action, and passionate about sales, customer service, and CRM tools. The candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong team player and collaborator skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced globally-dispersed work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a large volume of daily outbound interactions with prospective customers via phone, email, and other media channels.
  • Developing and managing the lead pipeline by assessing, prioritizing, and moving a large number of prospective clients simultaneously.
  • Defining and executing plans to meet and exceed regional revenue targets.
  • Engaging with senior managers on our marketing, sales, and operations teams to design and execute campaigns.
  • Helping to continuously improve our internal and external processes.
  • Using resources effectively, including marketing, pre-sales, and sales executives to meet objectives.
  • Becoming an advocate for our brand and an expert in customer service and CRM.
  • Providing regular reporting of pipeline status and conducting forecasting exercises.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor or Master degree desirable.
  • Recent graduate with some first experience in sales or business development, preferably in a similar role, or equivalent practical experience in other high-velocity sales environments. Cloud software sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience with the Dutch Market is ideal.
  • Fast-learner driven to action, passionate about sales, customer service, and CRM tools.
  • Enthusiastic about helping and serving clients, a high level of goal and customer orientation, and self-motivation, charming with a friendly persistence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong team player and collaborator.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced globally-dispersed work environment.
  • Native level written and oral communication skills in Dutch. Additional EU languages are a plus.
