Key Account Manager Verticals Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager Verticals to join our team. As a Key Account Manager Verticals, you will be responsible for driving growth through the development and expansion of customer and channel relationships in appointed market segments.
Key Responsibilities:Development of Existing Verticals Accounts:
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure the right solutions and activities are provided to the accounts.
- Position Samsung's B2B mobile portfolio and solutions with the Channel Account Manager at our managed resellers and operators.
- Position Samsung KNOX (secure platform) and inform our managed resellers on the complete propositions towards the verticals.
- Coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications (if applicable).
- Develop and maintain broad and deep customer partnerships that involve building relationships at the C-level and expanding relationships outside of IT.
- Set up technical solution sessions with customers in the appropriate verticals and inform end customers by organizing quarterly roadmap sessions.
- Ownership of any issues and escalation.
Acquisition of New Vertical Accounts:
- Develop and build up new channel partners into Samsung's strategic direction for dedicated verticals.
- Identify and win new accounts that can help to increase coverage in the different market segments.
- Work with the rest of the Samsung B2B team (PM, channel, biddesk etc.) to offer the right solutions and help in the execution of the strategy.
- Develop the value proposition (KNOX) to different accounts and build a strong ECO-system at Key Accounts.
- Closing opportunities by continuously reinforcing business value.
- Ownership of the acquisition process for all new accounts.
Achieve Key Business Goals:
- Manage sales results, progress and forecast reporting for the product category.
- Create strategic and actionable account/vertical plans that define a clear growth strategy.
- Monitor and report per vertical sales.
- Develop and manage a healthy and predictable pipeline that includes qualified opportunities.
- Research and share intelligence on customers and their respective markets with other members of the sales team and internally at Samsung.
- Coordinate demand generation activities and ensure proper allocation of sales qualified leads.
Experience:
- 5-8 years successful experience managing mobile solutions in a growing business.
- Minimum of 5 years of selling in the appropriate verticals (such as industry, logistics and retail).
- Experience working with senior and executive level management in top 500 accounts and the ability to map a customers' business need to technology solutions.
Skills:
- Solution and product knowledge: understanding of solutions and needs.
- Market knowledge and experience: understands the vertical business drivers including key behaviors and strategies to engage.
- Vertical network at all level of the organizations from C-level to IT heads. Strong understanding of their needs and business models and requirements.
- Experience driving opportunities, managing a sales pipeline and exceeding quota within nominated market segment.
- Customer focus: demonstrates concern for meeting and exceeding needs of customers.
- Teamwork: works collaboratively with others to achieve group goals.
- Business acumen and agility: Ability to articulate the business value of Samsung B2B and position them in competitive scenarios.
- Effective engagement & communication: effective time management, account management and communication skills.
