About this role:

We're seeking a seasoned Head of Performance Marketing to join our team at Just Eat Takeaway. As a key member of our Performance Marketing Leadership Team, you'll play a vital role in driving our performance marketing strategy across Southern Europe & Australia/New Zealand.

As a leader, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow performance marketing orders and new customer acquisitions across all channels within your segment. You'll work closely with your peers and the Senior Director to co-create the global vision for performance marketing, and collaborate with stakeholders across central and regional marketing teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop a high-performing team to achieve improvements in performance through a test and learn agenda
  • Own and manage budget for all Paid Performance Marketing channels and markets in the segment
  • Align overall marketing strategy with Segment Marketing Leadership
  • Optimise efficiency of campaign performance on a regular basis, applying best practices and a clear test and learn agenda
  • Understand local business and marketing strategy to translate into performance marketing strategy
  • Work with platform partners to achieve maximum results for the segment
  • Provide direction on growth and efficiency objectives for the segment on a regular basis
  • Represent JET during relevant industry meetings and provide thought leadership in performance marketing and delivery industry

What we're looking for:

  • Deep understanding and experience in all aspects of Performance Marketing, including Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, App marketing, and Programmatic Display
  • Extensive experience in managing a team of minimum 10-15
  • Experience in working in international environments and matrix structures
  • Ability to build strong relationships across a business
  • Experience with prioritisation of competing projects
  • Commercial mindset, sense of urgency, and eagerness to outperform expectations
  • Strong analytical acumen, structured thinking, and perseverance, going from insight to strategy to execution
  • Experience in large-scale consumer ecommerce business
  • Experience managing large-scale budgets
