Job Title: Team Leader Logistics

Decathlon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader Logistics to join our team in Tilburg. As a Team Leader Logistics, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10-25 employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of logistics professionals to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate logistics activities in our state-of-the-art warehouse, including operations management, optimization, and cooperation with other departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain high standards of safety management.
  • Forecast and plan logistics activities to meet business objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage staff costs and monitor performance indicators to drive continuous improvements.
  • Act as Duty Manager for shifts, ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in logistics and team management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts during peak seasons.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of €2950.
