Senior Supervisor, Product Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervisor, Product Support to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support, training, and design applications of specific water-based fire protection systems to our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and specification support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Support the full product range of water-based fire protection systems, including sprinkler and watermist systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers and internal employees, enhancing their knowledge and skills in fire protection systems.
  • Provide design services and engineering of typical system solutions, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Offer expert advice and support on projects, applying Tyco solutions according to NFPA, FM, EN, and VdS standards.
  • Write technical letters and statements on customer requests, providing clear and concise solutions.
  • Provide on-site support for customers, resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and ability to grasp complex technological concepts.
  • General knowledge of fire protection engineering principles, including sprinkler and watermist systems.
  • Understanding and application of relevant standards, such as NFPA13/20/750 and EN12845/14972.
  • Superior written and spoken English and German communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CAD software, including SprinkCAD and/or AutoCAD.
  • SAP experience is desirable.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel internationally and provide on-site support to customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in general engineering or a related field.
  • Good verbal and written command of English and German languages.
  • Experience in CAD software and designing and engineering of sprinkler and watermist systems.
  • Creation and understanding of piping layouts and hydraulic calculations.
