Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for a driven Business Development Manager (f/m/d) to become an integral part of our core team.

Your primary focus will be on cultivating and managing strategic alliances with resell partners and e-commerce platform vendors.

Additionally, you will enhance customer acquisition, primarily through partnerships and, when necessary, direct engagement.

Core Duties:

Business Development: Formulate and implement partnership strategies, encompassing joint marketing campaigns, co-selling opportunities, and collaborative product innovation to amplify product visibility.

  1. Resell Partner Development: Identify and onboard potential sales partners, such as digital agencies and system integrators, capable of reselling, implementing, and supporting SPARQUE technology.
  2. Platform Partner Development: Assess and establish partnerships with technology firms, vendors, and service providers within the e-commerce sector, particularly in ecosystems of e-commerce platforms like SAP Commerce, Magento, Shopware, BigCommerce, and Shopify.
  3. Sales Enablement: Work alongside partners to devise sales strategies and joint business plans, providing essential sales tools, training, and resources to empower partners in effectively promoting and selling SPARQUE products and services.
  4. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (Intershop and SPARQUE), including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to align partnership priorities with corporate objectives and develop mutually beneficial business strategies and initiatives.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, or Sales & Marketing, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and closing abilities.
  • Capability to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities.
  • Strong determination and focus, coupled with a sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and simply to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
