Key Responsibilities

As Director, Distribution, you will:

  • Develop and execute global transportation strategies to meet customer needs, while driving cost containment through provider rationalization, utilization, mode, and service level optimization.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure providers are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, regardless of region of operation.
  • Lead teams of 50+ professionals in standard work development and P&L ownership, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in global transportation, covering major modes, warehouse shipping/receiving, technology implementation, and supply chain system integration.
  • Minimum 10 years of supervisory or management experience, with proven leadership skills and ability to develop business strategies.
  • Mastery of business acumen, with a strong understanding of financials, logistics, and supply chain management.
