Join Our Team as a Logistics Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Team Leader to join our team at Decathlon in Tilburg. As a Logistics Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10-25 employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of logistics professionals to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate logistics activities in our state-of-the-art warehouse, including operations management, optimization, and cooperation with other departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure the safety of employees and the work environment.
  • Forecast and manage staff costs to meet productivity targets.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators to drive continuous improvements.
  • Act as Duty Manager for morning, afternoon, and night shifts, ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and safely.
Requirements:
  • Experience in logistics and team management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and night shifts.
  • Valid visa/work permit to work in the Netherlands.

  • Competitive salary of €2950.
