Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business objectives and ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Independently provide quotations, draw up contracts, and execute tenders, ensuring a uniform appearance of all processes and tenders.
- Manage and coordinate the customer portfolio, using the CRM system (Sales Force) to track and analyze customer interactions.
- 1-3 years' experience in a commercial freight forwarding environment, preferably in a commercial account management role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics or international business management.
- Excellent language skills in Dutch and English, with good intercultural relationship skills.
- Basic understanding of corporate financials, including costs, losses, profits, and buy-ins.
- Ability to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the logistics industry.
- Flexibility to be reachable for escalations outside working hours and willingness to back up colleagues during absence or peaks.
