Scientist (f/m/d) Computational Cancer Genomics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated scientist to join our Oncology Antigen Discovery and Computational Research team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for analyzing proteomics, genomics, and transcriptomics data to identify and select personalized and shared antigens for cancer vaccine development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our antigen discovery pipeline to identify and prioritize tumor antigens for oncology programs
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate newly acquired in-house and public data into our discovery pipeline
  • Support cross-functional projects with other CureVac departments to drive innovation and progress in cancer genomics research

Your Qualifications:

  • PhD in a computational field, such as computational immunology, systems biology, bioinformatics, or genomics
  • Proven track record of building bioinformatics software and data analysis pipelines with experience in Linux computing environments
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning and cloud computing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Fluency in English
