About the Product:
Our Above Water Warfare Fire Control System (AWW-FCS) is designed to safeguard vessels and other units from above-water threats. These threats are evolving to be faster, smarter, and more intricate. The Fire Control System integrates radar technology with intelligent algorithms to assist weapon systems in accurately targeting, tracking, and engaging threats.
We specialize in developing software that links Thales' advanced radar suite with the actual firing systems utilized on marine vessels. The AWW-FCS system equips Defense Operators with critical information, enabling them to make informed decisions swiftly.
About the Role:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary and self-organizing Agile/Scrum team. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of software product development, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, testing, validation, and product demonstrations. Utilizing cutting-edge techniques and software development methodologies is essential. The software for the Fire Control System is developed using both Java and C++, supported by a modern development environment. Depending on your skills and preferences, your focus may be on either Java or C++ unit and component level testing, alongside Java or C++ software engineering tasks in a balanced approach. We will determine the best fit for you during the interview process.

You will engage with the following tools and methodologies:
- Agile/Scrum software development
- Linux, IntelliJ, real-time software development
- Functional Testing, Exploratory Testing, Test Automation, and Unit Testing (Google-Test), Cucumber
- Continuous Integration & Delivery
- Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT, BitBucket
