In your role as Accountant Accounts Payable (m/f/d), you will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, conduct regular account reconciliations, and collaborate with external partners and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. You will also play a key role in month-end close activities and contribute to ad-hoc reporting and analysis related to the accounts payable and purchase-to-pay process. Your attention to detail, organized approach, and collaborative mindset make you an asset to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Description
  • Support the global accounts payable team for processing and posting of incoming invoices, employee expense reports, and credit card statements
  • Independently review and record accounts payable transactions
  • Communicating with external business partners and collaborate across departments
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and promptly addressing discrepancies
  • Support the use and development of spend management software
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities, including preparing ad-hoc reports and analyses
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in accounting, accounts payable or a similar accounting role, ideally in a start-up/scale-up environment
  • Proficiency in ERP software (Oracle preferred) and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Basic knowledge of VAT is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch preferred (German is a plus)
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work
