About this placement position
As an AV Specialist placement student at BUas, you will join our Marketing, Communication & Student-community (MC&S) service, specifically working within the Audiovisual (AV) team. The AV team is responsible for all photography and video productions created for external purposes. These productions cater to internal clients such as the student recruitment team, the Executive Board, and colleagues from various domains.
Your role as an AV placement student will involve a diverse range of tasks. One day, you might be working as a camera operator or photographer, or you are managing audio during a recording. On another day, you could be involved in video editing, subtitling, and creating eye-catching thumbnails. We also highly value your creative vision, and you will be actively involved in brainstorming sessions and concept development. As you gain proficiency, you will be assigned your own projects to be executed from start to finish.

You are not afraid to take on projects independently; You are assertive and comfortable approaching people; You like to take active part in brainstorming sessions; You have a flexible attitude regarding task assignments and work hours. Occassionally, you may have to film or photograph an evening event; You will be working in an international and intercultural setting.
