Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager Circularity to join our Polyurethanes division. The focus of this role is to drive key strategic initiatives and projects associated with Huntsman's Sustainability and Circular ambitions. The main purpose of the role is to develop a position for Huntsman in new to-be-established recycling eco-systems. This role can be filled at any of our PU sites in Europe or remotely.
As a Business Development Manager Circularity, you will be responsible for
Identifying, unlocking, and driving growth by forging new partnerships, securing clients, and expanding Huntsman’s reach in the ever-evolving world of recycling. Development of business models within a cross-functional team, potentially including M&A. Staying informed about constantly evolving regulations and emerging standards to ensure Huntsman operates compliantly and offers clients up-to-date solutions. Conducting Market Research to stay on top of recycling trends. Connecting with potential partners, understanding specific recycling challenges, and proposing solutions. Managing existing contracts and negotiating new contracts.What we are looking for
Master’s degree in chemistry or relevant experience. An MBA is a plus. Minimum of 10 years technical/commercial/marketing experience, including a successful record of creating new business growth in a specialty product industry. Experience in circularity, supported by a track record of success. Understand circular economy principles and sustainable practices. Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization. Effective communication skills and team player. Fluent in English, fluency in other languages is an asset. Regular global travel will be required.What next?
