As the EMEA Director of Digital Marketing JORDAN you create and drive the digital marketing plans across Nike owned direct digital channels to grow the business, cultivate innovation, drive brand impact, awareness, & distinction. You use your experience in digital, social, experiential and brand marketing to bring creative thinking to plans around product launches and sport moments, help grow and establish new product franchises, while developing & driving integrated digital plans and mine and share consumer insights and opportunities for the brand.

A dedicated digital brand marketeer who is looking to accelerate their career and learning in one of the most progressive areas of Nike marketing. A Director who has experience leading diverse teams and has a passion for movement, a curiosity for our consumers, and a desire to build a culture of creativity, innovation and inspiration to reimagine the future of sport and serve our members personally at scale.

Attuned to the needs of the consumer in a modern sense, and eager to push new ways of thinking about and mapping their journeys with our most innovative digital concepts as part of the O2O member journey, your passion is how the consumer navigates a modern digital marketplace, and how Jordan serves new behaviours. We need you to be curious, open to interrogate your own as well as others plans in a constructive way, with always an eye on the metrics we are accountable for delivering. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You work across diverse cross functional teams to set and own the digital experiences, content and marketing plans from strategy to execution. You bring deep appreciation for digital methodologies, embrace a consumer/member-first mentality and have strong digital and commercial competence.

This will include working within the broader Nike/Jordan Brand organization to plan out future projects, collaborating across multiple workstreams at the same time, communicating with cross-functional partners and leading seasonal executions from beginning to end. You will translate brand, athlete, and seasonal strategies into marketing plans & executions to drive a consumer journey across direct digital partners. You will also serve as a creative thought partner to find new ways to attract, activate & retain new and prospective members.

  • Lead seasonal planning of key priorities for the season, in partnership with the Director on the team
  • Conceptualize & build new consumer experiences/opportunities at scale
  • Takes in the global vision & strategy, is able to adapt and localize it to achieve specific brand engagement and business outcomes on behalf of (Jordan) Brand Digital Marketing aligned with brand strategy in service to the Athlete*.
  • Lead and influence the approach to the 13-week journey and follow through with all counterparts to ensure precision, impact, and Brand Standards work.
  • Integrate Membership to be an accelerant of Consumer x FOP priorities.
  • Leads reporting and sharing of Digital Marketing Success metrics on owned channels.
  • Displays expertise and comprehensive knowledge of .com, SNKRS app, Nike App & Targeted comms, inclusive of a full understanding of existing and future capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Brand Creative to influence creative output and platform distinction
  • Leads communication with global teams on marketing support
  • Partner with city teams on seasonal deliverables to increase opt-in percent of Digital Owned Channels.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting to the Jordan Brand Sr. Marketing Director. Cross-functional collaboration to bring the integrated marketing plan including partnering with the Brand Design & Brand Voice, Insights & Analytics teams for analytics and measurement to meet adoption and publishing metrics across strategy and content. Key Partners Nike/Jordan Geo Digital & Integrated Media; Geo Brand Management; Global Digital Marketing; Marketplace business partners; Nike App & Nike SNKRS; Agencies.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Seriously credible knowledge of digital marketing, strong digital skills and expertise in digital owned platforms as well as digital platforms including Apps, e-mail, .com, paid media, & social
  • Proven experience delivering on multi-pillar digital plans including: delivering business results; enhancing the consumer connection & improving brand engagement and strength. You think strategically about future possibilities and translates them into breakthrough strategies. Thinks beyond the day to day, taking a long-term view of the business based on an understanding of our consumer.
  • A solid track record of leading large scale, experienced & complementary teams you champion effective teamwork by building cohesive relationships that apply diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Experience in working an integrated marketing offense on a global led and/or GEO/City led level
  • Strong analytical skills and confirmed capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required, with experience influencing senior partners with data and storytelling
