Tommy Hilfiger, which was acquired by PVH Corp. in 2010, is a global apparel and retail company with more than 16,000 associates worldwide. With the support of strong global consumer recognition, Tommy Hilfiger has built an extensive distribution network in over 100 countries and more than 2,000 retail stores throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region. Global retail sales of the TOMMY HILFIGER brand were US $9.2 billion in 2019.

The Position

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to join TOMMY HILFIGER as the Senior Vice President of Womenswear Apparel. This role will coordinate all aspects of the Womenswear Apparel Merchandising, elevating the womenswear collection aligned with the brand identity, seasonal trends and commerciality. The ideal candidate will be a groundbreaking leader with extensive fashion commercial skills, detailed success and a proven track record in the fashion industry, capable of driving innovation and ensuring the continued success and growth of our womenswear line

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for our Womenswear Apparel Business and drive growth and market share through salesmanship, trend and consumer insights, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop, implement and drive a strategic direction for Womenswear Apparel.
  • Lead and manage all product lifecycle from concept and design to market ensuring innovation and quality based on consumer insights and innovations
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with supply collaborators on purchasing strategies and influence efficient supply chain operations.
  • Build and lead a strong and impactful team that encourages a culture of creativity and excellence

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the retail and wholesale industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership or general management role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading a full team driving product creation, merchandising, purchasing, planning, and product development.
  • Strong understanding of global fashion markets, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Outstanding leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaborative, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong financial competence and strategic-thought capabilities.
