Intelligent Data Collection, a leading UK-based traffic data company, is expanding its operations into Europe and seeking a dynamic Regional Business Development Lead to spearhead the establishment of our new Netherlands office, serving the BENELUX region.

**The Role**:
As the Regional Business Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our expansion strategy and establishing a strong presence in the Netherlands and the BENELUX region. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive business development plan to identify and secure new clients and partnerships in the BENELUX region.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, transportation authorities, urban planners, and infrastructure developers.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges within the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
- Representing Intelligent Data Collection at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, effectively promoting our services and solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services to clients in the region.
- Monitoring and reporting on market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
This is a full-time, office-based role, working 40 hours per week over 5 days, with some travel expected.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the transportation, infrastructure, or urban planning sectors, with essential experience working with municipalities/gemeenten, Rijkswaterstaat, engineering firms, transport modelling, or infrastructure consultancies.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the BENLUX region, with a strong understanding of the local market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation in the traffic data and transportation sectors.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the BENLUX region and occasionally to the UK headquarters.
**Remuneration**:
- Salary up to €80,000 based on experience, plus an 8% holiday allowance paid monthly.
- Company car allowance.

- Uncapped profit share based on the company’s performance in the Netherlands and strategic outcomes.
- 25 days of annual leave plus national holidays.
- 'Buy Holiday Back' scheme for up to 10 days.
