**About Accommodations Business Unit**

**About the role**

Through deeply understanding the partner and traveler, they drive the product marketing strategy, including the launching, scaling and improving our product portfolio across global markets, to increase partner satisfaction, improve partner and traveler experience and grow commercial success.

They operate from within the Product Development department in ABU, working closely with other functions such as Marketing, Legal, Commercial Operations and Technology. This role has People Management and Craft Leadership responsibilities and must balance delivering strategic initiatives both with a team and on their own.

The role reports into the VP of Core Product.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be the Product Marketing craft leader, set the standard within the Product Marketing community, including craft development, supporting recruitment, and facilitating talent processes
- Drive the product marketing strategy, including the launching, scaling and improving of our product portfolio across global markets
- Lead Accommodations Business Unit wide initiatives, such as Portfolio Alignment
- Deeply understand the end-to-end user and buyer journey, from awareness, acquisition, adoption through to engagement, working with key stakeholders to define, execute and optimize
- Validate value props with target audience through qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Define customer and market segment to identify, select and prioritize target segments to meet business needs
- Proactively manages stakeholders across the organization to influence and share information, in the right medium, at the right time across local and global audiences
- Responsible for internal communication to the field, including identifying the right channel is used with the relevant, timely and accurate product and commercial updates
- Own strategy for all external communications, working with all key stakeholders (internal and external) to execute
- Own the end-to-end GTM process from target setting, planning, implementation, reporting and retrospective
- Own team accountability through setting and measuring targets, milestones and other measurements of success
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring team and others within the product marketing community

**Experience & Skills**:

- 12-15 years of Product Leadership Experience either with high traffic (100,000+ visitors per day) or significant experience with platform businesses
- A minimum of 8 years of experience managing and coaching teams, including product directors, senior product managers/product owners
- Proven experience working with multiple senior stakeholders
- Comfortable with engaging with C-level executives from distribution partners and customers
- Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
- Curious, solution oriented and result driven
- Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently as well as working in a team
- Commercial skills
- Good communication (e.g. public speaking) and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task & flexible attitude
- Strong project management skills
