Our accounting department, located in Schiphol at _**Prestwickweg 62 1118 LB Schiphol**_, provides day-to-day support for our units’ accounting duties. You will be working within a multicultural team consist of 7 FTE’s under leadership of the Accounting Team Leader. As an All-round Accounting Assistant, you get opportunity to develop yourself in an interesting and international working environment. We are going to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool “ Microsoft Dynamics 365” by April 2025. You will play a proactive role in providing advice and control based on data and must dare to approach colleagues in the UK or Germany, France, Spain, Italy and in the Netherlands, to optimize our processes. You identify risks and implement appropriate measures to control them.

**Work Location: Schiphol office**

**Working hours: 36-40 hrs/week**

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Accounts receivable - collection by mail and by phone
- Accounts payable - booking invoices
- Approving payment requests
- Preparation of banks booking
- Preparation of necessary journal entries
- Interface: month-closing (AP & AR)
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Possible future tasks:

- Prepare VAT declaration
- Monthly settlements for several intercompany offices (AP & AR)
- GL analysis
- Bad Debt
- Has 2 years’ experience working at an accounting department
- Is a team player, has a hands-on mentality, with a good dose of humor
- Experience working with Excel and with power BI is a big plus
- Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English
- Has a degree in Accounting (Pdb of MBA or economics study)
- Is available for 36-40 hours a week
