Internal Communications Manager

**Introduction to the job**
As our Internal Communications Manager you play an important role in improving employee engagement and embedding change through developing exceptional communication strategies. You feel comfortable in a fast-paced and changing organization and you like to work in multidisciplinary teams. Together with change managers, project managers and other project team members you identify the What, Why, and How and are able to translate this in clear messaging to our employees.
**Role and responsibilities**
As our Internal Communications Manager, you are able to translate the benefits of a project into clear messaging for the internal organization. You will be responsible for:
- Implementation of the communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders, including the communication protocol, recurring communication, and milestone communication events.
- Collaborating with communication, change, project and portfolio managers to implement and execute the communication agenda (including all types of communication, recurring messaging, communication events and high visibility communications).
- Connecting with the different parts of the organization to ensure coherence in messaging.
- Maintenance of change champion network in the finance organization to drive employee engagement and culture change. Creating insights in employee engagement and attitudes towards the transformation through regular connects with stakeholders, pulse checks, surveys, etc.
- Building understanding and capabilities on Communications for the Finance Transformation Office and the Finance organization as necessary.
- Providing advice and support in terms of Communication to sub-departments within Finance.
- Managing third-party agencies as necessary.
- Embedding change through communications.
- Managing stakeholders to achieve communications and change objectives.
**Education and experience**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Communications
- Science/technology/finance/business background a plus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English is a must
We are looking for someone who has:
- 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in developing and implementation of the communication strategy for internal stakeholders, including the communication protocol, recurring communication, and milestone communication events.
- Worked in communications for multinational companies.
- A creative mindset to drive out-of-the-box communication moments to support a culture change.
- Experience in communication needs of transformation projects.
- Relevant experience in effective communication to provide messaging with the right tone of voice towards different types of stakeholders.

**Other information**
The communications team is part of the Finance Transformation office. The Finance communications team itself consists out of 2 people. Together with a more senior communications manager you’ll work on multiple transformation projects.
