We are seeking a seasoned Senior Key Account Manager to drive growth in our new markets. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business line.

The Groceries, Convenience & Retail team at Thuisbezorgd.nl is on a mission to rapidly grow this new vertical. With eCommerce in Grocery, Convenience & Retail (non-food) as a fast-growing market, this presents a strategic business opportunity. As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and developing partnerships with major Grocery, Convenience & Retail (non-food) partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acquiring, managing, and developing partnerships with key stakeholders;
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals through lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing, and implementing sales opportunities;
  • Having an innovative mindset and proactive approach to capitalize on market opportunities in a dynamic landscape;
  • Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders to drive continuous growth and success;
  • Being the 'voice of the customer' and building a strong cross-functional network to cater to the needs of our partners and drive our internal agenda;

We are looking for someone who is driven, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and ready to get on board and help us unlock this future growth engine. You will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in (KAM) sales roles, of which 3 years at least in Grocery, retail & Convenience landscape (e.g., FMCG supplier or retailer experience);
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
  • Ability to coordinate and close complex deals and build key relationships;
  • Proven track record of making commercially sound, data-driven decisions;
  • A customer-focused and innovative outlook, optimizing work processes across your job;
  • Acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, and acts decisively in an often changing environment;
  • Fluent in Dutch and highly proficient in English (written & spoken);
