As a Senior Benefits & Wellbeing Specialist at Boston Consulting Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee benefits and wellbeing strategy for the Amsterdam office. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the benefits and wellbeing agenda, collaborating with colleagues across the three offices in London, Amsterdam, and Brussels (LAB).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy for Amsterdam, working closely with the LAB Benefits & Wellbeing Senior Manager and the wider LAB team.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the online benefits platform for all employees in Amsterdam, managing content and enhancements.
  • Partner with the LAB Wellbeing Champions team to support and organize wellbeing activities and events in Amsterdam and across LAB.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as the Office Leader and Works Council, and external stakeholders, including benefit providers and brokers.
  • Provide expert guidance on benefits-related queries and resolve complex questions from employees.
  • Lead benefit review projects for the Amsterdam office, including a review of the pension scheme and the mobility plan offering.
  • Oversee benefit insurance policies and contract renewals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislations.
  • Engage employees to drive uptake of benefits, producing clear communications to help employees understand their benefits.
  • Collaborate with global and regional benefits teams at BCG, as needed.
  • Provide data to suppliers and the finance team to ensure correct processing through payroll systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislations and work with the Finance and Tax team to ensure accurate tax treatment of benefits.
  • Review supplier performance and coordinate regular tendering processes.
  • Manage monthly reconciliations of HR and finance systems.
  • Own benefit-related balance sheet reconciliations, as requested by the Finance team.
  • Support colleagues in London and Brussels on monthly tasks and projects, as needed, and be willing to support the team across LAB during peak periods.
  • Contribute to shaping the LAB Wellbeing strategy, collaborating with colleagues in the wider LAB People Team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Experience and expertise in the Netherlands benefits landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects, while being a team player.
  • Passion for employee wellbeing and a strong understanding of finance, including experience working with payroll and accounts teams.
  • Resilience in dealing with routine tasks and a high integrity standard.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and comfort presenting to employees and senior stakeholders.
  • High energy and commitment to driving benefits and wellbeing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in a Benefits/Reward role, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Experience with implementing and managing benefits.
  • HBO or University degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Sound knowledge of and fluency in Dutch and English.
