Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager Pharma

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the entire operational team in the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, while also coaching and mentoring your team to achieve daily objectives and monitor customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage professional staff, including entry-level and supervisors, to ensure effective team performance.
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Handle most situations independently, guided by policies, procedures, and the business plan, while seeking advice and guidance on complex issues.
  • Apply subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues and improve operational processes.
  • Operate within established practices and procedures, escalating non-routine problems.
  • Continuously search for opportunities to improve existing operational processes and systems.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of tasks and optimize communication between teams during shift transfers.
  • Provide daily updates in the Warehouse Management system on production results, system faults, and stock deviations, and offer necessary reporting to the Site Manager.
  • Develop people through coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent, and bench strength.
  • Adhere to the applicable Quality Management System based on ISO requirements, as well as GMP and GDP requirements.
  • Manage activities covered by authorization, ensuring compliance with serialization requirements.
  • Ensure that the entrepreneur's actions regarding wholesale trade in medicinal products are properly documented.
  • Implement and execute training and professional development programs.
  • Coordinate and execute actions related to the withdrawal and suspension of medicinal products.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in pharma logistics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading a warehouse operations team.
  • Knowledge of regulations regarding Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Experience working in an international matrix organization with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Lean thinking and continuous improvement are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Dutch and English fluency.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
