Damen Shipyards is a leading provider of total services solutions for the maritime industry. Our company is responsible for delivering a wide range of services, including commissioning, repair, warranty, service, and maintenance activities. We also offer training for crews, delivery of ships, maintenance management, and supply of parts during new construction.
The Asset Management Design DepartmentThe Asset Management Design (AMD) department is a key part of Damen Shipyards' services portfolio. Our team is responsible for developing and supplying asset management solutions for our customers, including spare part packages, vessel operating manuals, maintenance plans, and maintenance analysis.
The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Spare Part Packages Specialist to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing our customers with spare part packages that meet their specific needs and requirements. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and map complete spare parts packages for Damen vessels.
- Provide correct and careful spare part proposals offers.
- Set up projects in our ERP system and ensure the right parts are purchased.
- Monitor the quality of the end product, the spare part package.
- Manage and prepare logistics routing for delivery to the yard or to the end customer.
- Ensure the right quality and financial results of the projects.
- MBO/HBO technical education, Logistics or equivalent.
- Experience with technical maintenance in industry or shipping and knowledge of spare parts is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- Strong in forming a combination between technical, logistical, and commercial aspects of assignments.
- Can work well under time pressure.
- Accurate, orderly, customer-oriented, quality-conscious, strong communicator.
- Team player and has a hands-on mentality.
