Job Title: Project Manager Engineering Shipbuilding

At Damen Shipyards, we are committed to delivering innovative and efficient solutions for our clients. As a Project Manager Engineering Shipbuilding, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering team to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the engineering process and output within your discipline, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Lead an engineering team and engineering partners, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Integrate purchased systems and equipment, ensuring seamless interfacing with other disciplines.
  • Manage budget, planning, quality, and risks related to engineering vessel projects.
  • Coordinate with clients and their representatives, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Develop and maintain a good working environment and team spirit.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in managing engineering projects in the maritime sector.
  • Experience with maritime engineering and software packages such as AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • English is a must, Dutch is a plus.
