Project Manager Shipbuilding

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the engineering process and output within your discipline, managing an engineering team and engineering partners, and ensuring the integration of purchased systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an engineering team with engineers/lead engineers for the shipbuilding disciplines and support staff in four phases: design check, basic engineering, detailed engineering, and production support.
- Manage Budget, Planning, Quality, and Risks with regard to the engineering of vessels.
- Contact with the client or their representatives and manage the outsourcing of engineering work, ensuring necessary approvals are attained.
- Manage the integration of purchased systems, equipment, and the interfacing with other disciplines, including requests for quotations and the vendor data process.
- Ensure a good working environment and team spirit.
- Actively participate in engineering where required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture.
- Preferably experience with standardized shipbuilding and series construction.
- Experience with software packages such as AutoCAD and Nupas-Cadmatic.
- English is a must, Dutch is a plus.
