Endowed Professor of Standardisation Management

The Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professor to fill the position of Endowed Professor of Standardisation Management. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading business school and contribute to the development of standardisation management as a field of research and practice.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality research in standardisation management, with a focus on innovation and business improvement.
- Teach and supervise students in the field of standardisation management, with a focus on innovation and business improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders in the field of standardisation management.
- Contribute to the development of the Innovation Management group and the Department of Technology and Operations Management.
- PhD in management and organisation or a closely related field.
- Strong commitment to high-quality, impactful research, demonstrated through publications in top management and business journals.
- Ability to engage in multi-disciplinary research to bridge the gaps between diverse fields.
- Exceptional teaching skills that ignite enthusiasm in the classroom.
- Experience and/or proven interest in standardisation.
- Passion for connecting standardisation to innovation to drive business improvements as well as to contribute to societal and economic impact.
- Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a bonus.
- A strong research environment in an enthusiastic, international and prolific group.
- A research budget that covers conference participations, data collection and research assistance.
- A limited teaching load.
- A five-year temporary contract (0.2 FTE) supported by funding from NEN.
