As an endowed professor of standardisation management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, you will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence in standardisation. Our department of Technology and Operations Management is dedicated to developing strategies, structures, and processes to generate, select, and implement innovations.
With a strong research environment and a limited teaching load, you will have the opportunity to focus on high-quality, impactful research and engage in multi-disciplinary research to bridge the gaps between diverse fields. Your exceptional teaching skills will ignite enthusiasm in the classroom, and your experience and/or proven interest in standardisation will be invaluable in connecting standardisation to innovation and driving business improvements.
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in management and organisation or a closely related field, who possesses a strong commitment to high-quality, impactful research and exceptional teaching skills. Your passion for connecting standardisation to innovation and driving business improvements will be essential in contributing to societal and economic impact.
As an endowed professor, you will be part of a strong research group and will have access to a research budget that covers conference participations, data collection, and research assistance. You will also have the opportunity to develop innovative methods and techniques and validate the impact of standardisation within or across organisations.
