About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at the Eindhoven University of Technology. As a PhD researcher, you will be working on the development of ultrafast organic optoelectronic devices, focusing on the theoretical and computational aspects of these devices.
Research Focus
Your research will focus on understanding the underlying quantum mechanical processes that determine the switching speed of organic optoelectronic devices. You will work closely with experimental researchers to develop and apply theoretical models to simulate the behavior of these devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply theoretical models to simulate the behavior of ultrafast organic optoelectronic devices
- Collaborate with experimental researchers to design and optimize device architectures
- Conduct research on the application of artificial intelligence in the field of organic optoelectronics
- Contribute to the development of new materials and devices for high-speed optical communication
Requirements
- Master's degree in theoretical/computational physics or chemistry
- Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence
- Research-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Fluent in spoken and written English
