About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary/Elementary Curriculum Developer to join our team at the International Baccalaureate. As a key member of our Education Office, you will play a critical role in the development and review of our primary and elementary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review curriculum content for our primary and elementary programmes, ensuring alignment with our educational philosophy and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement curriculum projects, including programme reviews and cross-programme initiatives.
  • Lead and support projects that deliver high-quality, engaging, and meaningful resources to IB schools, educators, and students.
  • Stay up-to-date with educational trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to inform curriculum development and review.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including educators, schools, and other IB partners.
Requirements
  • Experience in Mathematics education and expertise in primary/elementary discipline-based standards, frameworks, and/or competencies.
  • Relevant educator experience, including teaching, coordination, curriculum and/or assessment design and development, examining, or professional development.
  • Good understanding of best practices, emerging developments, and innovations in teaching, learning, culturally responsive education, grading for equity, and assessment practices.
  • Insight into the needs, interests, and contexts of educators and students aged 3-19.
  • Experience in taking on a variety of roles in collaborative projects and participating in critical conversations about curriculum development.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
  • Strong understanding and frequent use of academic research, with strong qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing, monitoring, and measuring the effectiveness of new programmes and/or defined projects.
