We are looking for an Executive Chef Associate to join our team at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be part of a dynamic team. As an Executive Chef Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in preparing and cooking dishes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the development of new dishes and menus. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our high expectations.

What You Will Do
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in planning and preparing meals
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Contribute to the development of new dishes and menus
  • Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to local health and safety regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
  • The ability to legally work in The Netherlands
  • Flexibility and stress resistance, with a willingness to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • A passion for teaching and developing skills, with a curiosity to learn and grow
