Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in the Netherlands. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving business success by providing strategic HR guidance and support to our stakeholders.

SBM Offshore is a leading provider of floating production solutions for the offshore energy industry. We operate globally with a presence in over 20 countries and have a diverse workforce of around 7,000 colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on Group Functions, working closely with stakeholders across two NL locations: Amsterdam Head Office (Schiphol area) and Schiedam Resource Center. You will provide solicited and unsolicited advice on all HR-related matters, guiding managers to be 'the first HR manager' to their teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a strong partner to business stakeholders, providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues from various disciplines, including Talent and Learning, Reward, International Mobility, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Participating in global HRBPs for Group functions and local HRBP counterparts worldwide.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in HR, with a minimum of 2 years working as an HR Advisor and/or HR Business Partner.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Excellent English skills (written and verbal) and good Dutch language proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Accurate, proactive, and no-nonsense attitude, with excellent communication skills.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
