Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Engineer to join our team at SSG Hospitality UK Ltd. As a Hybrid Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities- Provide second-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Assist clients with hardware and application problems, escalating complex queries to the relevant team member or external support provider as needed.
- Deal with and log requests for user support from the helpdesk, ensuring an efficient and customer-focused response within our agreed SLAs.
- Produce and maintain technical processes, training documentation, and knowledge base articles for our systems.
- Proactively monitor alerts across various systems to identify and resolve developing problems.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support role.
- Educated to degree level in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft operating systems, including desktop and server systems.
- Skilled in directory, file, and folder permissions management.
- Demonstrated capability in firewall management and troubleshooting.
- Possesses previous networking experience and understanding of switch configuration/management.
- Competent with virtual server installation, configuration, and architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration and security compliance.
- Understanding of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS).
