Customer Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our Customer Support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain equipment at customer locations, including new equipment, upgrades, and system relocations
- Evaluate and diagnose problems, making appropriate repairs and providing technical support to customers and colleagues
- Monitor and maintain equipment on a daily basis to enhance functionality and prevent problems
- Advise users on appropriate actions to correct malfunctions in a timely manner
- Train customers in the use and routine maintenance of equipment, answering customer questions and providing assistance in a professional manner
- Perform administrative and coordination duties, including procedures such as changes, pass-downs, work orders, field service, system problems, and monthly reports
- Prepare written technical reports and provide support and assistance to less experienced ASML personnel as necessary
- Vocational degree in Mechanical Engineering (MBO Level 4/ MTS) or higher vocational degree (HBO) specialized in precision engineering
- Experience in issue solving/troubleshooting or maintenance in Automotive/ Mechatronics or Mechanical/ Industrial equipment
- Strong technical background with a drive towards solutions
- Excellent professional communication in English
- Pro-active and a strong drive for results

- Strong influencing skills (able to motivate, drive, steer, and convince others at all levels of the organization)
