Databricks, a leading cloud-based data platform company, is seeking an experienced Data Scientist Team Lead to lead our Pre-sales Solutions Architects in the Benelux region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.

About the Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of technical experts and drive business growth in the Benelux market. As Data Scientist Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Hiring and managing a growing team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects
  • Building a collaborative culture within the team, embodying and promoting Databricks' customer-obsessed, teamwork, and diverse culture
  • Supporting increased return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles
  • Promoting a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organization
  • Displaying an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
  • Building Databricks' brand in Benelux in partnership with the Marketing and Sales team

Your Background:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in first-line leadership roles, preferably from the Data, AI, or Cloud industry. Your expertise should include:

  • Relevant high-growth enterprise software pre-sales success with tenure at a reputable software company
  • Experience developing, managing, and building a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals
  • Culture leader with experience managing a growing sales organization and building teams of successful and passionate big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales professionals
  • Track record of building strong ecosystems of lucrative customer relationships and cross-functional partnerships (Sales, Engineering, Marketing)
  • Knowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software models
  • Great at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiency
  • Market experience of the Benelux region
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as additional benefits and perks.
