Shipbuilding Project Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a Junior Project Manager Shipbuilding - Compact Class to manage the engineering process and output within their discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth building process, managing an engineering team, and maintaining contact with clients or their representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an engineering team with engineers/lead engineers for shipbuilding disciplines and support staff;
- Provide technical support on projects as needed;
- Manage budget, planning, quality, and risks related to engineering vessels;
- Ensure necessary approvals are attained through contact with clients or their representatives;
- Manage the integration of purchased systems, equipment, and interfacing with other disciplines;
- Implement standard work processes in projects, organize review moments, and prepare status reports;
- Ensure a good working environment and team spirit;
- Participate in engineering activities as required;
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture;
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in maritime engineering;
- Experience with standardized shipbuilding and series construction;
- Familiarity with Rules and Regulations and ability to interpret and translate them for projects;
- Experience with software packages such as AutoCAD and Nupas-Cadmatic;
- English is a must, Dutch is a plus;
