We are seeking an experienced Executive Education Business Development Manager to join our team at HKU.
Job DescriptionThe appointee will be responsible for developing strong client relations with senior decision makers and influencers in target organisations/segments to understand their talent management strategies, systems and processes, and respond appropriately to their needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Grow the Executive Education revenue through sales and development activities;
- Systematically prospect for and convert leads into sales (hands-on sales role);
- Track and maximise profitability of Executive Education programmes individually and as an integrated portfolio;
- Interpret industry trends, patterns, demographics, effectiveness of historical marketing efforts etc.;
- Continually evaluate competitive environment and provide analysis and recommendations to improve business results.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and has a proven track record in business development and sales. The ideal candidate should have:
- A good Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business-related subjects with at least 10 years' work experience;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese);
- Strong customer service and project management skills; good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Branding and marketing skills; the ability to build relationships at all levels in the private, public and government sectors;
- The ability to work independently with entrepreneurial spirit and under pressure, and to perform multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
- A positive attitude; a detail-oriented mindset; a high level of computer proficiency.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
