Job Description

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for selling Arrow managed services around NetApp to existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with end-users and partners, including regular account management and customer visits.
  • Identifying New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Understanding Customer Needs: Understand end-user needs on maintaining continuous operation of NetApp environments and recommend solutions that meet those needs.
  • Presenting Company Offerings: Present the company's offerings to customers, including product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Collaborating with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, marketing, and support to provide a high-quality customer experience.
  • Negotiating and Closing Contracts: Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with a focus on data storage or managed services.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of NetApp's or similar brand products and services, including data storage and data management solutions.
  • Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google) is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as required to attend customer visits, trade shows, and events.
  • Language: Really good proficiency in English. Native Dutch language is required.
