The Technology, Innovation and Society (TIS) group at the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences (IE&IS) at Eindhoven University of Technology is a leading research group in the field of innovation and sustainability. We are seeking an Assistant Professor to join our team and contribute to our research and teaching activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the area of economics of technological change and sustainability, working on an own research line and as part of a TIS research team.
- Teach courses on economics and on the economics of technological change at the BSc and the MSc level.
- Supervise PhD students and contribute to the development of the TIS group's research agenda.
- Acquire external funding for research projects.
Requirements
- PhD in economics of innovation, evolutionary or institutional economics research, or a comparable domain.
- Track record in the field of economics of technological change and publication in relevant journals.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Energy Economics, and Sustainable Innovation is a plus.
- Affinity with engineering sciences.
- Ability to conduct high-quality academic research and teach effectively.
