EMEA DTC Technology Director

About the Role:
New Balance is seeking a highly skilled EMEA DTC Technology Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Direct-to-Consumer organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business solutions that enable us to deliver exceptional consumer experiences across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to drive alignment and deliver results.
- Lead the development of a digital vision and roadmap, working closely with regional and global partners.
- Coordinate cross-functional work streams and projects, ensuring effective delivery and post-implementation review.
- Guide the organization through digital transformation, prioritizing initiatives aligned with regional and global strategic plans.
- Develop compelling cases for change, based on business value, brand positioning, and new capabilities.
- Inform and drive system and solution architectures.
- Drive the execution of effective digital projects to enhance the digital brand experience.
- Clearly communicate expectations to project team members and track progress.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating in a clear and timely manner when appropriate.
- Be the regional go-to-person and champion the DTC Technology team, ensuring best practices are implemented and adopted.
- Manage the coordination of pre-read materials and follow-up action items for product governance meetings, cross-functional work streams, and quarterly business reviews.
- Evaluate and propose efficiency and integrity improvements.
Requirements for Success:
- Relevant degree or equivalent, and relevant number of years' work experience in digital/retail functions and exposure to Direct-to-consumer business technologies.
- Significant experience leading complex projects and evaluating/resolving complex business challenges.
- Strong organizational skills, able to organize work and prioritize projects with a sense of urgency, while being comfortable with uncertainty and shifting priorities.
- Collaborative style with well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Extensive experience of utilizing BI tools.
- Experience of Agile methodologies, Jira or ADO, SFCC, and Retail solutions.
- Approximately 25% travel required on a needed basis.
