About the Role

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the Netherlands market. This role requires a strong understanding of complex business software and IT solutions, as well as excellent leadership and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, sell, and close new business to existing and net new customers.
  • Develop and execute account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and leverage them to drive complex sales strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing value through counsel, expertise, and solutions.
  • Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive business plans to address customer and prospect priorities and pain points.
  • Manage pipeline and opportunity development, leveraging support organizations and SAP solutions.
  • Advance and close sales opportunities through successful execution of sales strategies and roadmaps.
  • Support SAP promotions and events in the territory, taking an active sales leadership role.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales of complex business software/IT solutions.
  • Experience in lead role of a team selling environment.
  • Proven track record in business application software sales.
  • Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive market.
  • Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level English and Dutch: Fluent.
  • Bachelor's equivalent: yes.
