Project Manager for High Speed Vessels

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Department Workboats Project Management team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the new build of High Speed Vessels, Fast Ferries, and Tugs from drawing up to delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery;
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely delivery of vessels to our clients;
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality vessels on time and within budget;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production, to ensure seamless project execution;
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed;
- Ensure compliance with Damen Shipyards' quality, safety, and environmental standards;
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, Maritime Technology, or a related field;
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a maritime environment;
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks;
- Fluency in English and Dutch, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
