Project Manager Workboats

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Department Workboats Project Management team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the new build of High Speed Vessels, Fast Ferries, and Tugs from drawing up to delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery;
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely delivery of vessels to our clients;
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders;
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
- Collaborate with the Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure seamless project execution;
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed;
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements;
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Damen Workboats' products, services, and processes;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that our projects remain competitive and innovative.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, Maritime Technology, or a related field;
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a maritime environment;
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and manage budgets, timelines, and resources;
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality delivery.
